There are two types of digital signature 

Class 2 Digital Signature – Class 2 DSC used for registration and return filing. This DSC mostly used on GST, MCA, EPFO, Income-Tax Portals for reg. and return filing.

Class 3 Digital Signature– Class 3 DSC mostly used for Filing and Submit Online Tenders. You can Participate and Submit Online Tenders on all Govt. and Public Sector Tender Portals. A valid Class 3 Digital Signature with Encryption is required for Tender Portals.
